Such a wonderful night exploring the amazing food and drink would have been staples before and after the arrival of the Normans… very very informative and great fun. Thanks to all.

I’m delighted to be involved in this fantastic event where you can experience a true Norman/Irish feast. Join us to see, hear and taste what it was like to be Irish after the Normans arrived. Enjoy the food, sample the mead and the ale, and find out if you have Norman ancestry. Come enjoy a local, intimate event in the heart of Gorey town. A very small number of tickets remaining. Still can’t quite believe it!! We’ve only gone and done the hat trick!! Our third year in a row to take home a Blas Na hÉireann award. It really is pinch me territory. For those who don’t know Blás na hÉireann food awards are an all Ireland food awards and celebrate the best food and drink that our brilliant country has to offer. To be recognised at such a prestigious awards ceremony is stuff of dreams for any food producer let alone a small independent food producer like us. When people ask about Blás na hÉireann I explain it as “The Oscars of food awards” I’m also very lucky to be a part of an amazing network of food producers in county Wexford and every single member took home an award this weekend. What a testament to this county and the quality of food being produced here. A very special mention to my brilliant and beautiful family and friends who came all the way to Di**le to support me.. you don’t know how much it means .
