This week we're exploring the renowned Rioja region of Spain with Lagar de Cayo from Bodegas Quiroga de Pablo.

Produced in one of Spain's most respected wine regions, Lagar de Cayo reflects the heritage and craftsmanship of traditional Rioja winemaking. Carefully selected grapes and thoughtful production create a wine that expresses the character of its origin.

In the glass, it shows a deep ruby colour with aromas of ripe blackberry, cherry and plum, complemented by subtle notes of vanilla, gentle spice and light oak. The palate is well balanced, with layers of dark fruit and refined tannins leading to a smooth finish.
