Anyone seeking a good looking well bred yearling gelding to rear on for the future should take a look at goresbridge lot 408 who fits the bill Sumas Season by Four Seasons out of a young dam by castlefield Cornet. She is a half sister to the exciting young eventerSumas Tina Turner sold to the USA after winning the bronze medal at Le lyon D’angers .
Also with a date in goresbridge on sat 6 is
Lot448 another young Suma bred grey c**t foal by womanizer a leading sire of eventers out of a pollux de muse mare gs Parco. Lovely attractive good moving foal should make into a lovely horse to suit many careers.

Delighted with the success of Sumas Lumen yesterday when. She and her new partner Gemma Phelan qualified for the RDS 6 year olds

Many thanks to Gemma and her team and to Donnacha Dermody who did a great job bringing ‘squeak’ to this stage for us as her breeders.Susie would be proud as the line goes back to a brilliant pony (yes 13.2 pony) with whom sh jumped successfully in open classes way back in the day! And then bred the Foxes Frolic who was her horse of a lifetime, still remembered by many.
Subsequent stallions who have had important input to Squeak are her own sire, the talented ArdVDL Douglas, dam sire Master Imp, VDLArkansas, Horos TB, pride of Shaunlara RID and an unknown tb and Connemara who produced the original gggd Royal Penny.
I hope to get a photo or video soon I am so grateful to all concerned and hope she can emulate her close relation Sumas Zorro in fun given and maybe some of the success would be lovely too!
