We are a family run Christmas Tree farm located in the picturesque foothills of the Wicklow Mountains. We were one of the first farms to grow and harvest Christmas trees in Ireland, planting our first trees in 1989.

As we settle into 2026, all of us at Rathcon Christmas Tree Farm would like to wish you all a very happy new year. Thank you for visiting us and supporting our family business in the lead up to Christmas, 2025. We are already out preparing our trees for future Christmases, and looking forward to welcoming you all back at the end of this year 🌲❤️🎄

The Village tree is up and the lights are on, all ready for Grangecon's traditional tree lighting ceremony after the Christmas Market tomorrow at 4:30pm 🎄
Another tradition we are happy to see continuing is the addition of Tree of Rememberence ribbons, placed next to the tree, as shown. Those who wish to tie a ribbon on the tree with the name of a loved one they've lost can bring a piece of ribbon, or use one from the Spare Ribbons container . Those who have tied on a ribbon in the past can look in the Past Ribbons container - every year the ribbons are removed and saved for the next year. Please treat each ribbon with respect when looking through the box and ensure they go back into the box with the lid sealed.
Please also ensure you leave the marker in place for others to use.

*Bring your wellies and take a wander through Rathcon Christmas Tree Farm to choose your perfect tree 🎄
*Enjoy a delicious lunch at GrangeconKitchen or pick up a treat in their shop 😋
*Take in the festive atmosphere and goodies at the Grangecon Christmas market from 1pm until 430, followed by the traditional Village Christmas Tree lighting and carol singing (and maybe even a visit from 🎅)
*Book dinner at Moore's Casa Tapas, Grangecon or just enjoy a cosy pint in the pub Moore's of Grangecon.

There is no better place to be this Sunday than Grangecon 🥰❤️

Congratulations to Kelly Supple and Conor Barry, and to Edward and Louise O Mahony and their family for finding the trees with the gold stars. They took their trees home for free! 🌲🌲
