When you wonder why chocolate biscuit cakes/chocolate cakes are so expensive. Chocolate has taken a 90% + price increase in the last 12 months, I only use the finest chocolate in my cakes. Other ingredients like butter have taken a price hike too. You will also notice the price of Easter Eggs this year have increased significantly.
