Farm Visit today on this recent start up in Rathnure Wexford to further discuss grazing and herd management support.
3 months in 62 heifers milking, Avg 2.6 milkings per Day, 21kg per Day Avg, Box Time 6.51 Minutes. ABC grazing giving them loads of access for training. Really good simple setup and the girls are flying it 🐄 👍🏻

Preventative Maintenance here today on this single Gea Robot in Galbally in Limerick.
In it's 9th season currently running 62 cows averaging 29l milking 2.48 times a day on ABC grazing platform. Box time sitting just under 7 minutes.
New milk & pulsation tubes, Wire Ropes for Cups all replaced as part of our service. 🐄 💪🏻

Yesterday I had the pleasure of meeting Peter Long and Robbie Mc Cormack from FTS dairy services when they showed be around one of their latest installations. The farm was near Wexford and had 4 x G9500 robots operating on a free access system.

They established their own GEA dealership in 2020 which just specialises in robotic milking and to date they have 52 machines up and running with another 7 to fit this year. They do all of the installations and servicing themselves ."Regular servicing is paramount" explains Peter" because it enhances reliability and prevents unnecessary call outs."

They also operate 2 mobile slurry seperators during the winter months.
