Lose It For Ever

Lose It For Ever Sick Of The Weight Loss Club BS? At L.I.F.E you won't just lose weight, you'll Lose It For Ever WITHOUT giving up your favourite foods 😍

Cutting out your favourite foods will only train your brain to think they're bad or forbidden....

And like a bold child that just makes you want them more....

Definitely control the portion size ESPECIALLY when you're trying to lose weight/body fat.... That makes sense because they're higher in calories.

Complete elimination is unnecessary in my opinion.

It's also the reason why most people can't be consistent.

This happens a frightening amount of time.....

People say "oh I'll just go back to "𝘪𝘯𝘴𝘦𝘳𝘵 𝘥𝘪𝘦t" because that always works for me".⁣

🤷🏽‍♂️If you keep rebounding and not sticking to it long term then guess what, something is not working for you.⁣

If a movie was 💩 you wouldn't watch it over and over again would you?

No.

And you certainly wouldn't blame yourself for that movie being 💩 would you?

No.

Failing diets repeatedly comes down to 3 things mostly:

1️⃣Not working on your mindset & developing habits.

When you skip this step it leads people to thinking that once this diet is finished I can go back to normal.
Your normal is the problem.

2️⃣People don't realise that maintaining is just as hard if not harder than a diet.

Dieting is easy from the point of view that it's a set number of weeks (4, 6, 8 or whatever). Most people can get their heads around that.

Maintaining your results requires changing your habits and your life, that's a harder pill to swallow.

Make sure the diet you go on incorporates building good habits as well as doing what is needed to lose fat.

3️⃣Education

If a program doesn't explain why you're doing things then they're trying to keep you trapped in their system.

See if they explain WHY then one day you might not need them and that scares them.

That doesn't scare me, it excites me.

If I can work with someone for 6-12 months and then they have the tools and knowledge to do it for life.....

HOW F*€KING AWESOME IS THAT 😍😍

If you keep failing then you need a different approach.

I'm eating too little that's my problem....

Every single person in the world has a number of calories they need to consume consistently on average to STAY THE SAME WEIGHT.

⬇️Eat less than that number consistently and you'll lose weight

➡️Eat that number consistently you'll stay the same weight

⬆️Eat more than that number consistently and you'll gain weight.

✅There's no such thing as eating too little and not losing weight, it's a numbers game.

That's weight loss simplified, but to go a little. deeper there are 3 angles we could tackle this from...

1️⃣ You might be eating too little causing you to overeat at other stages
So you're not really eating too little overall, but you are being too aggressive

2️⃣ You're not eating too little and you're not being honest about it

⬆️That might hurt but in a lot of cases it's the truth

Change is hard, kicking old habits is hard and that's ok....but lying to yourself or your coach if you're working with one won't get you anywhere

3️⃣You're making tracking mistakes whether you realise or not

This could be a lot of things but here are a few examples:
➡️Not weighing your food
➡️Not counting oils, sauces, milk etc....
➡️Trusting entries on apps without double checking
➡️Picking and nibbling and thinking those little things don't matter, they do
➡️Not adjusting app entries for the portion size you're actually having

If you have a friend who says this then please share this video with them.

I bet a lot of you have said that or still feel/think that way.

I've had 3 conversations just today with people who said those words to me.

Well guess what?

👀Being all or nothing really just means you're a nothing person right? Because you never get long term results, you get nothing.

Don't worry I'm going to tell you exactly how to fix it....

1️⃣Stop calling yourself an all or nothing person and stop telling other people that you're an all or nothing person.

Sounds simple right? Every time you do that you're ingraining that into your brain as your identity.

How the hell are you ever gonna beat it?

2️⃣Stop being drastic

Every single time all or nothing people try to be way too drastic with their diets.

Cutting all of the foods they love completely and trying to stick to a diet plan they hate, it doesn't work so stop it.

3️⃣Learn more about nutrition

This is the only long term success road for EVERYONE.

Stop trying to rely on meal plans or "just eating healthy" and learn the truth about nutrition.

Learn about calories, macros, diet quality, reading food labels and lots of other things.

If you've read this far and this hit home with you drop a 🙌🏽 in the comments.

How To Nail Saturday Nutrition 🙌🏽

Bonus points below 👇🏽

👉🏽Have a strong reason why

What do you get out of doing it? How will you feel Monday if you stay on track? If you stay on track and achieve your goals what will that do for you? Confidence? Energy? Happiness?

👉🏽Cook extra, use ready meals or use a meal prep company to make life easy

During the week Cook extra portions of dinner and use that for the weekend.

Or make extra breakfasts.

Or order from a meal prep company like

Or pick up some high protein ready meals in the shop.

It's not sexy but one or all of these things will connect with you.

Comment below, what are you going to do?

❌Stop Going For 2 Litres❌

Everyone goes straight to 2 litres any time they start a diet, that is a BIG(get it?) mistake.

And so many coaches still give out this blanket advice to everyone 😭

🤔 So what's the problem?

Well it doesn't take into consideration where you are now.

Most coaches (at least good coaches) will discourage you from doing a crazy restrictive diet or throwing yourself in the deep end....

Yet nobody seems to apply this to water intake?

😍 So let's help you fix it....

Figure out how much water YOU are getting now, and by now I mean on a bad day.

❌ The good days are not your problem...

Now set your target 250ml above that and increase by 250ml per week if you hit your target every day for 7 days.

Sure on your good days you'll crush the target and that's cool, but we want those bad days to get a little bit better.

I promise you this method will guarantee long term success.

Progress not perfection.

😱 Technically you CAN burn more calories than you consume or at least burn the same amount as you consume....And you can...

😱 Technically you CAN burn more calories than you consume or at least burn the same amount as you consume....

And you can maintain weight or lose weight while eating a "bad diet" aka too much processed food.

📝Processed food = highly processed like chocolate, sweets, crisps, ice cream etc....

The catch is that after a while your energy will drop, health will suffer and you'll probably pack it in and start to go in the wrong direction.

🤔 So what can you do?

Well most people try to cut out the processed foods completely which is another mistake, instead just shift the ratio.

So right now if your diet is 70-80% of the highly processed "bad foods" and 20% less processed "good foods" (fruit, veggies, lean meats, fish etc....)

📈Work on getting to 60/40 for a week....then get to 50/50 for a week....

And keep swinging that ratio until you get to 80/20 minimum or 90/10 would be even better.

❌Stop going cold turkey only to end in a binge.
