Introducing The Liberator Double Port x Double Peat.
Very Limited Availability - a few extra ones we bottled from a special export order for a smoky version of our Whiskeys.
An exquisite blend of our Malt in Tawny Port Casks, Peated Malt and Grain in Ruby Port Casks. The Peated Malt is a subtle component that really elevates the Port flavours but, crucially, doesn't overpower them. Most of the components are 9+ years old but around 5% is 6 years old.
Double Port x Double Peat references the genesis of this release which was our Port ‘n’ Peat blend - an experiment which is now on Batch 5 and has been very popular. On this new release we have doubled the Peated Malt - hence ‘Double Peat’.
Bottled at 46% abv. Gently cut. No chill filter or colouring. 700ml bottles all allocated. Very limited availability in 500ml bottles. €55.
