What an ICONIC end to the season!

Thank you so much for showing up and supporting our little community here. Every person who came through the doors helped make our 26th year a success here at Ballykeefe. We honestly can’t even find the right words to express how thankful we are. ❤️

We started the evening with the brilliant Antanna_music filling the amphitheatre with stories from the get-go and setting the tone for a very special evening.

And then… crybeforedawn back on the Ballykeeffe stage for the second time. Their history speaks for itself, but seeing them live is something else entirely. And what a performance it was!
Such a powerful set filled with songs, stories, and some beautiful tributes paid. Every note hit exactly the right emotional string. There was something incredibly genuine flowing through the stage all night: a celebration of what they (and we all!) love: music that’s honest, human-made, pen & paper style, authentic and raw. It’s all about the REAL connection. THANK YOU for this beautiful experience. ❤️

Our 2026 Summer Series comes to a close tonight, Saturday 22nd August, and we couldn’t think of a better way to finish than by welcoming Cry Before Dawn back to Ballykeeffe Amphitheatre. ❤️

Getting the evening underway is Antanna, an exciting emerging voice on the Irish indie folk scene, bringing his blend of indie, folk and alternative music to the Ballykeeffe stage.

And while the evenings are getting a little cooler, the good news is that the sun is shining in Ballykeeffe this morning!☀️ Just remember to wrap up warm as the evenings are cooler and come ready for a great night of live music.

Another beautiful night at Ballykeeffe, this time with the Derek Ryan Show! 🎶

Jack Keogh got the evening off to a stunning start, followed by the wonderful Dominic Kirwan, before Derek Ryan and his excellent band took to the stage for a great night of music.

There was plenty of toe-tapping, clapping, singing along and even a little dancing, exactly what a summer night at Ballykeeffe should be! 💃🎵

A huge thank you to Derek, Dominic, Jack, all the musicians, crew and production team who worked so hard to make the night happen.

As always, a very special thank you to our wonderful volunteers who looked after everyone so well throughout the evening — we simply couldn't do it without you. ❤️

Thanks also to Farmhog Roast and Cloud Crepes for keeping everyone well fed, and to O'Hara's Bar for the refreshments.

And finally, thank you to everyone who joined us-both familiar faces and those visiting Ballykeeffe for the first time. Another beautiful sunny evening turned into a very special night under the stars.

🎶 CRY BEFORE DAWN | SATURDAY 22 AUGUST

Our 2026 Summer Series comes to a close on Saturday 22nd August, and we’re delighted to welcome Cry Before Dawn back to Ballykeeffe for what promises to be a very special final night of the summer.

Combining the intensity of guitar-driven rock with the rich heritage of traditional Irish pipes and whistles, Cry Before Dawn create a powerful and dynamic sound that sets them apart in the music scene. Renowned for their passionate and electrifying performances, they gained a dedicated following through extensive live shows in Ireland, the UK and the USA, and sold-out Ireland's National Stadium on two memorable occasions.

Opening the night we are delighted to welcome Antanna, an exciting emerging voice on the Irish indie folk scene. With deeply personal and evocative songwriting, he blends elements of indie, folk and alternative music in powerful storytelling. Joining Antanna onstage in Ballykeeffe is Nicola Young, you don't want to miss this.

WHAT. A. NIGHT.

There are nights at Ballykeeffe that are special… and then there are nights like last night.

Hothouse Flowers absolutely blew us away. From the first note to the last, they had Ballykeeffe completely in the palm of their hands. The music, the energy, the musicianship, the atmosphere.... just incredible. One of those nights we’ll be talking about for a very long time.

And what an opening performance from Burnchurch. Absolutely stunning. They set the tone beautifully and won over the Ballykeeffe crowd from the moment they stepped on stage. What a band. 👏

To everyone who came along, you were some crowd! You sang, danced, cheered and embraced every single moment. That atmosphere belongs to you as much as anyone. ❤️

A huge thank you to i-Tech Productions for the incredible sound and lighting, and to all the crew, production teams and everyone working behind the scenes who helped make the night what it was.

And, as always, to our extraordinary Ballykeeffe volunteers, the people who arrive long before the gates open, welcome and look after everyone all evening, and are still there cleaning and packing away when the last person has gone home. We simply couldn't do any of this without you.

And finally, Hothouse Flowers....thank you for an unforgettable night at Ballykeeffe.

This Saturday, the 8th of August, the Hothouse Flowers take to the stage at Ballykeeffe Amphitheatre for a SOLD-OUT show 🎵 

We're delighted to announce that Burnchurch will be opening this event and we welcome them back to the stage at Ballykeeffe.

It’s pretty rare to get an opening act that is such a perfect fit, and for this event, Burnchurch were an obvious choice. Irish speaking, starting out as buskers and writing bilingually, fusing trad, rock and blues, listening to all manner of music with trad running through their musical veins. 

This promises to be an unforgettable night of incredible live music in one of Ireland's most unique outdoor venues and we can't wait to see you there.

What a night! 🎶🎸

REBEL REBEL absolutely lit up Ballykeeffe Amphitheatre last night, and what an incredible atmosphere you all created. From the first song to the last, the singing, dancing, and energy from the audience made it a truly special evening.

A huge thank you to Rebel Rebel - Beware The Savage Jaw for a fantastic performance, and to our wonderful team of volunteers whose hard work makes nights like this possible. And when the band said "Just Dance"... you certainly did 💃🏻

If you were there, we'd love to see your photos 📷 and videos, tag us and spread the magic. And if you missed it, don’t make the same mistake twice. Keep an eye out for upcoming events and come join us.

🎸 Rebel Rebel takes to the stage tomorrow at 8pm sharp (no support act, so don't be fashionably late!)

The setlist is ready and packed with the songs everyone knows and loves, alongside favourites for the true Bowie fans. 🤩

Doors open at 6.30pm, with Crepes Farm Hog Roast and O'Hara's Irish Craft Beers keeping everyone well fed and watered. 🍺
