Happy Greenschools Marine Week 🌊

In line with our education pillar and successful ''Source to Sea Education Programme', we are delighted to be leading and facilitating our inaugural ''Love my Bay'' Marine schools' event in Kinvara this Friday as part of Greenschool's Marine week 2026. For Kinvara schools only by invite.

All four schools within the Kinvara sub catchment will be part of this event only and will showcase their Greenschool and STEM marine related projects and learning. The participating schools' are Seamount College , Northampton NS, Doorus Montessori and St. Joseph's NS .

Our ''Love My Bay'' event is designed to share with each other, inform and promote our bay with our students who live and learn in the Kinvara area.

We are thrilled to be partnering and supported by Sabine Springer, a Marine biologist and Artist. The event will also include education partners Green-Schools, Galway Atlantaquaria and the Marine Institute - Foras na Mara Explorers Education Programme. Our community group partners Kinvara Earthkeepers and Kinvara Tidy Towns will also be sharing their marine related projects with students.

We look forward to sharing with you the marine related projects, learning and the days' activities from Friday 😃

*Note this event is only open to schools on Friday. We will be sharing future Cuan Beo community events over the next number of weeks.🙏
