Clifden Bites & Sights Food tour is a great way to get to know the history of Clifden, Connemara, Irish food and farming while enjoying local and artisan food. Food tours are great for groups of friends and family and is multigenerational - even teenagers have to eat!

Seaweed, seaweed,seaweed. I gather it, eat it raw and cooked, bath in it, use it in the garden, but importantly I share my love of it with guests on my tours. One of the stops on my Clifden Bites & Sights tour is at the Connemara Seaweed Baths to sample seaweed both in its natural state and baked in bread and crackers. I share how it can be used in the kitchen, in beauty regimes, its role in our folklore and the important role it continues to have in agriculture.

Connemara Wild Walks explore the edible and medicinal wild plants along our hedgerows and beaches.
Join me for a relaxed stroll along a boreen with lots of stops to learn what's going at our feet. We'll stroll along a beach at low tide identifying seaweeds and chatting about how they can be used in the kitchen.
I'll bring along tastings of seaweed bread/crackers and wild dips to enjoy.

Wild Walks are a wonderful way to learn about Irelands native wild plants. Walks can be along our boreens or include shore walks where we explore our seaweeds and shore plants
