St Joseph’s Lads
The U-13 team were defeated on Friday evening last by Rinn Gaels on a scoreline of 7 pts to 6pts. A close game which could have gone either way, hard luck lads.
The U-17 Div 2 Final between St Joseph’s and St Patrick’s Dromahair took place on Sunday at 1.30pm in Páirc Sean, Carrick-on-Shannon, a curtain raiser to the Intermediate Final between Annaduff and Dromahair. The game was a very competitive one and the lads were in it right up to the end but Dromahair managed to edge ahead and secure the win.
The Club would like to thank the players and management for their hard work throughout the year and to all the supporters who turned out in large numbers to support the lads.
Ladies
St Joseph’s Ladies were defeated by a stronger dominant Glencar-Manorhamilton team who secured their 7 in a row Senior County Championship. The girls battled hard right up to the final whistle, but Glencar-Manor proved too strong and ran out comfortable winners. Hard luck ladies and management.
