New here? Welcome! 👋
If you found us through the RTÉ Today show last week, we’re so glad you’re here.

We were on to mark National Women’s Enterprise Day, which takes place this Thursday 15th October. Thank you to Local Enterprise Office Leitrim for putting us forward, and to the Today show team for having us.

We’re Dromod Boxty. We’ve been making homemade Irish boxty, potato bread and pancakes since 1990, from a family recipe that started with Aine’s granny. Here’s a look behind the scenes and a clip from the interview.

All the treats. Very little trickery. 🎃🥞

Turn your Dromod Pancakes into little monsters with banana ghosts, berry eyes and chocolate smiles.

Perfectly decorated? Optional.
Sticky fingers? Highly likely.

Show us your spooky creations—we’d love to see them! 👻

Another client testimonial !!

''Hello Dromod Boxty Ireland. A week and a bit ago I returned from a delightful holiday on the West Coast of Ireland and it was my 4th holiday on the West Coast of Ireland over the past few years. This time around I stayed in Sligo and Westport and visited some lovely places that surround those delightful areas. And yes over here in England I love Potato Cakes, however though when I was in Ireland this time around and when I have been there before, I have had your beautiful and incredibly tasty Potato Cakes and Boxty. In fact the other day I had some Boxty which I had for dinner, cooked it and put some lovely Beetroot, Quinoa and Feta Cheese Salad on it, and I dare say but it was perhaps one of the most delicious dinners that I have ever had, quite literally!
