⛳ SWING & SPEAK – Men’s Mental Health Awareness Night 🧡

📅 Thursday 12th November | 6pm – 10pm

November is Men’s Mental Health Awareness Month, and we’re opening the doors at Letterkenny Driving Range for another special evening dedicated to support, connection, and taking a breather.

We all have that friend we keep saying we must catch up with, but somehow never get around to it.

We were also so thrilled to see so many Donegal producers bringing awards home. It’s fantastic to see Donegal food and drink getting the recognition it deserves.

We’re delighted to share that THREE of our coffees have made it through to the finals of the Blas na hÉireann Awards 2026!!!

Our Seasonal Blend is a finalist in the Coffee Blends category and our Mexican and Colombian coffees are both in the Single Origin category!

We put so much care, time and passion into every roast, so to see three of our coffees recognised at this level is a very special moment for the New Kid team.

Already working in coffee and ready for your next challenge? We’re looking for someone who wants to take their coffee career into roasting, production and training.

ABOUT THE ROLE
New Kid Coffee is looking for an enthusiastic, hardworking and coffee-loving individual to join our team as a Roastery & Training Assistant. This is a varied, hands-on role that offers the opportunity to work across different areas of our business - coffee production, packing and dispatch, customer training and quality control.

The successful candidate will work closely with our Head Roaster and will gradually be trained in the art and science of coffee roasting, with the aim of developing into a skilled roaster. They will also be involved in welcoming and training new wholesale customers, helping café teams develop their barista skills and get the best from New Kid Coffee.

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
A genuine interest in coffee and a willingness to learn.
Previous experience working with coffee is essential, ideally in a speciality coffee, café or barista environment. No previous roasting experience is required, as full training will be provided. Previous experience delivering training would be an advantage, but is not essential.

WHAT WE OFFER
This is a full-time, salaried position, with a salary range of €32,000–€35,000 per year, depending on experience and suitability for the role.

The successful candidate will receive hands-on training and experience across coffee roasting, quality control, production and barista education, with the opportunity to develop a long-term career within the speciality coffee industry and become an important part of the New Kid Coffee Roasters team.
