🔥 Oíche Fhéile Eoin | St John's Eve 🔥

Tonight, across Mayo and throughout Ireland, communities mark the ancient tradition of St John's Eve with the lighting of bonfires.

For generations, these midsummer fires have brought neighbours together to celebrate the longest days of the year, share stories, music and laughter, and honour a tradition that remains an important part of our Irish heritage.

As darkness falls this evening, we're thinking of the many bonfires that will light up the Mayo countryside and the generations who have kept this wonderful tradition alive.

Wishing everyone a happy and safe St John's Eve. 🔥☘️

Happy Father’s Day from all of us at Glen Keen Farm.

Even today, Jim was doing what he loves most. Shortly before this photo was taken, he was on the peak of the Sheaffrey Hills gathering our sheep. 🐑⛰️

After welcoming him home with a
Glen Keen Cocktail, we’re now looking forward to spending a lovely Father’s Day evening together. 🍹✨

What a fantastic Mayo welcome for Prime Minister Mark Carney at the weekend!

It seems everyone must have had the Child of Prague out last night, as we were blessed with a gorgeous day for the occasion.

It was a real pleasure to see Prime Minister Carney visit his Ancestral Home Village of Aghagower, visit Westport and to see Mayo hospitality at its finest.

Congratulations to all involved in organising such a wonderful event and to everyone who turned out to make the day so special.

🍀 What a week it's been at Glen Keen Farm! 🍀

We've had the pleasure of welcoming so many wonderful guests from all over the world over the past few days. From sheepdog demonstrations and music sessions to home baking, breathtaking scenery and plenty of stories shared along the way, it's been a busy and rewarding week.

As we head into the weekend, we'd love to hear from those of you who have visited us over the years...
