Unfortunately the time has come to say goodbye. After over 8 incredible years, Listoke Distillery & Gin School is closing its doors for the last time tomorrow night.
We have tried to keep the business going through a myriad of uphill battles including Covid, a management buyout, cost of living crisis, global inflation, tourism shut down and insane shipping costs.
While we are devastated as a family and a team, we want to focus on what we did achieve. Our gin, whiskey and vodkas have won awards internationally and have been spotted on shelves and in bars from New York to Beijing, Singapore to Lebanon, Tuscany to Drogheda and everywhere in between. We have opened 12 international markets and have had thousands of visitors to Irelands First Ever Gin School. Not bad at all!
We have helped over 21 other brands launch their products and cannot wait to watch them all continue to grow.
Most importantly, we have tried to help in any way we can. We have donated over 13,000 litres of hand sanitizer to charities and those less fortunate all over Ireland. We have sponsored prizes for sports clubs, schools, charities and non profits. We have donated money to those suffering in Ukraine and Palestine. We have fundraised for homelessness, LGBTQ+ charities, cancer treatment and research here in Ireland. We have done everything we can to help our local and wider community.
We want to thank our incredibly supportive staff for all they have done for us. They go above and beyond to get orders out last minute, give people an amazing Gin School experience and put up with all of our family chaos!
A huge thank you to all of our partners who have introduced our products on supermarket shelves, bar menus and online stores.
Of course, we wouldn't have gotten this far without our customers. Thank you for your unwavering support through the hard times and the extremely amazing times we have had.
Finally, none of us would have gotten this far without Queen Bronagh. As a Mum, boss, founder and best friend we are truly honoured to walk in her footsteps. She is the epitome of bravery, ingenuity and kindness. Here's to one more G&T until the next chapter begins π¦π
