The role will involve working alongside our Livestock Manager to select animals for market, as well as helping to manage our top-quality pedigree Aberdeen Angus and Hereford herds.

🌻🌻❤️GRATITUDE POST❤️🌻🌻
During a visit to the Sunflower Field last night to catch the sunset while picking some sunflowers I was delighted to bump into our friends and wonderful supporters- the people who turned a vision they had into reality over 6 years ago to help raise funds for St Francis Hospice, Micheal & Geraldine Hoey of Country Crest along with the support of the Bergin Family & Cahal Flynn of Country Crest. This year is the sixth year running that we the public get to visit this beautiful, peaceful field day or night to pick our own Sunflowers only asking in return for a donation be made to St Francis Hospice so that patients and families will experience compassionate caring at a deep physical, spiritual and emotional level when they are in most need of support in their lives.

We are truly grateful and cannot thank them enough for giving us this opportunity to raise funds and to the public who visit and donate year after year.🌻🌻🌻

Special word of thanks to Cahal whose task it is each year to sow the field and this year he had the help of his two wonderful boys, Theo & Milo! It was so lovely to see the boys and thank them for all their hard work. As four year olds they are too young just yet to realise how those seeds they helped sow not only provide beauty but peace, hope, joy, kindness & memories for so many and in return our wish for you all is “May you reap what you sow”❤️

We extend our deepest sympathies to the family and friends of John O’Donovan following his tragic passing. Our thoughts and prayers are with them all at this incredibly difficult time. May he rest in peace.

The Committee and Members of the Loughshinny Motorcycle Supporters Club are deeply shocked and saddened by the tragic passing of competitor #136, John O'Donovan, following an incident during the Junior Support race at the Skerries 100.
At this incredibly difficult time, our heartfelt condolences are with John's wife Valerie, his children Sean, Libby and Emily, his extended family, his many friends, and all of his club mates in the West Cork Motorcycle Club.
The loss of such an experienced and respected rider will be felt throughout the close-knit road racing community. Today that community mourns together, as John was a passionate competitor who was greatly respected. His contribution to the sport will not be soon forgotten.
On behalf of everyone at the Loughshinny Motorcycle Supporters Club, we extend our deepest sympathies to the O'Donovan family, and ask that their privacy be respected as they come to terms with this devastating loss.
May John rest in peace.💔

What a brilliant day in the Food Village with the Fingal Food Circle, where we got to enjoy some fantastic cookery demonstrations showcasing the very best of our local ingredients.

It was also great to see, and participate in a number of the cattle classes today. Country Crest was delighted to sponsor the Pedigree and Non-Pedigree Calf Classes. A huge thank you to everyone who entered, and congratulations to all the winners! 🏆
