And then we had Wheat 🌾

What a pinch me moment! The legend that is Stuart from has 4 Heritage Varieties of wheat in the ground in Kilcock, all grown under Biodynamic Principles.

Couldn’t be more excited to have my own wheat that i can mill and use in Future Pizza & Dough endeavours.
A project that will hopefully continue for many more years to come.

Now we just pray to the weather gods to bring us a good harvest 🤞

Pizzas at Next Week 🍕

Buzzing to be spending an evening slinging some pies in the Fumbally next Thursday evening. Expect some good food, wine and tunes.

This is a ticketed event and tickets will go on sale tomorrow evening from the link in our bio
There will be 2 tickets times available, 6pm - 8pm & 8pm - 10pm. Just buy a ticket for whatever time slot suits you and rock up between them 2 hours and order at the counter.

2025 🍕🌾

Took the year to go work in some of the best bakeries and pizza places in Europe. Had an absolute ball and learnt an invaluable amount. Couple of pop ups thrown in between to keep the juices flowing

Harvest 2025

Stuart is a biodynamic farmer in Kilcock, just 5 minutes down the road from me, and this year he grew some beautiful spring wheat. I had the pleasure of getting my hands on some and milling it down in . These 2 varieties are Mariagertoba & Dalarna wheat which are Scandinavian varieties.

Although they might take bit more work to get right, the flavour is night and day.

This was super exciting for me given how close this was grown to my house and shows sure if they can grow it across the pond, why can’t we do the same 🌾

Pizza Slice Pop Up 14th December 🍕

We’re Delighted to be popping up in tap room Next Sunday in Celbridge, Co. Kildare! We will be doing some grandma style, square slices and Rye River will be pouring their beer straight from the source.

To avoid everyone arriving at once, we will be releasing ticketed time slots during the week.

Expect some classics and some beer themed pies, all using wheat

Can’t wait to see yous all there 🍕🌾
