⚠️new scam alert ⚠️
We are making this post to make local businesses aware of a new scam going around . It seems criminal groups are using stolen cards to order food to houses they dont live in at a highly discounted rate for the residents. This is not a victimless crime. It causes loss of revenue for businesses .
We have received several of these calls over the past few weeks and because of this , regrettably we will no longer be accepting card payments over the phone . Orders can be placed online and paid for via our websites or placed over the phone and collected and paid for in store . We apologise for any inconvenience this may cause .
All of these incidents have been reported to the garda and they will be following up with the people involved.
If you are a local business who has experienced similar problems please report it to the garda .
