Lakeview Gardens & Organic Farm are situated on the Cavan Meath border overlooking and around Mullagh Lake. The gardens are extensive, occasionally open to the public and provide flowers, fruit and vegetables all year round. ant consideration.
60 hectares are in grassland and this supports a suckler herd which is predominantly Aberdeen Angus. There are also farmyard animals including pigs, horses and many types of poultry.
20 hectares of the farm are in commercial forestry, predominantly broadleaf, and there are paths throughout which are a great amenity with a hide by the lake edge for watching wildlife. Field boundaries are predominantly stone walls; traditional cleft larch fencing is also used in key locations. This is a beautiful place with lots of activity and opportunities!
