Admiration of a roadside hedgerow at Cape Clear Island this week, with Tutsan, bramble, montbretia, tufted vetch, wood sage, honeysuckle, bracken. Nature's arrangements are stunning 🤩

A bit of a different view yesterday! I traded the dirt and digging  for a conference room at the Tóchar Midlands Wetland Restoration event in Portlaoise.

It was a proud moment to see a talk featured on a publication I put a massive amount of work into producing: A Vision for Wetlands in Ireland 2026-2030.

My background is in agriculture and ecology, so balancing flower farming with landscape policy is a huge passion of mine. Wetlands are vital for climate resilience, water management, and biodiversity. Taking care of our wetlands means taking care of the environment that allows our farm to thrive in the first place. 🌸🌿

Back in the fields this morning but feeling very inspired!

Honesty flower stand at Polly's Abbeyleix, with seasonal locally grown flowers . Check out the small plant section too, grown from seed on the farm so you can grow your own flowers. Limited numbers and different selection every week

This week there is a peach Jacob's ladder, perennial scabious ( Fama) and a beautiful pale blue Delphinium

Thanks everyone for supporting our small sustainable business.

We may be small but we have a big vision. We would like to become a social enterprise that creates employment opportunities for youth that need a fair chance and a supportive environment to thrive.

Every time you buy from us, you are helping to make this dream one step closer to reality.

What kind of community impact would you like to see us make ?
