Regatta season is here!

Every summer, the harbours and villages along the Skellig Coast come alive with the tradition of coastal rowing regattas, as generations of crews and supporters gather on and off the water once again.

This year, John will be rowing in the Cnuicín 4-Oar, continuing a tradition linked to the old Seine Boat fishing crews. The 4-Oar traces back to the “Follower” boat, the second vessel used in the Seine fishing traditions in our area.

Spring has arrived in the woodlands, with recently planted apple trees beginning to bloom and new life showing on every branch 🌱

One day, these growing woodlands may be filled with laughter, hosting Easter egg hunts for local and visiting families alike, right here on the Skellig Coast, along the Wild Atlantic Way 🌊
