We’re open 9-1pm this Friday & Saturday. Fresh grass-fed and finished Dexter from a certified organic farm, as well as high welfare free range pork from a certified organic farm. All the usual cuts will be available, as well as our popular beef and organ mince and beef bone broth. 🥩

In other news, our butchers shop will soon be certified organic (just waiting on an inspection) which mean that we will finally be able to label the meat we sell as certified organic! 🌿

Nick and Cassie McCarthy met in Cassie’s native Australia and decided to return to Ireland to develop their business Lúnasa Farm.

Based near Quin in Co Clare, they converted land into organic in 2022. Nick is from the area and studied engineering originally, however he trained as a craft butcher while in Australia. Cassie has a background in food science, health and nutrition.

Together the couple developed their business idea of rearing organic animals, butchering them using traditional skills to sell direct to the public. They operate a butcher shop on Fridays and Saturdays in nearby Clarecastle.

Certified organic, 100% pasture-fed Dexter beef and certified organic pork are fresh in store this weekend. We’ll be fully stocked with all of our fresh sausages (farmhouse pork, classic pork, Italian and beef, garlic & herb), as well as meatballs, rashers, burgers and all of the usual cuts. We also have charcuterie, tallow, lard, bone broth and organic free range chickens (frozen this week). Local fresh cut flowers in store too 💐

Open this Friday and Saturday, 9am–1pm in Clarecastle. 🌿

Fresh organic chickens are back in stock this week. Plus our usual: 100% grass-fed and finished organic beef from our farm in Quin (fresh bone broth and organ mince available), organic pasture-raised pork and a large range of charcuterie. Local flowers and other pantry staples in store too.

We were thrilled to learn that 3 of our products are finalists in this years Blas na hÉireann Irish Food Awards! All 3 products are in stock this weekend.

We also have 100% grass-fed and finished organic Dexter beef in store and plenty of frozen pork products in stock including our nitrate-free rashers and natural sausages. Smoked chorizo, guanciale, saucisson and nduja all available this week too.

This week we have 100% pasture-fed Dexter beef sourced directly from a certified organic farm, and pasture-raised pork from Corrigeen Organics. We will have a wide range of cuts in store, everything from burgers and sausages to roasts and ribs. We sold out of fresh organic chickens last week - we’ll be sure to let you know when they’re in stock again. We hope to see you in store!
