Delighted to be catering the BBQ today at the TechIreland National AI Challenge in CoLab ATU Donegal

A brilliant event bringing people together around innovation, technology, AI and new ideas, with plenty of great conversations happening throughout the day.

We were delighted to play our small part by keeping everyone well fed with a BBQ lunch!

✨ WHAT A NIGHT AT THE FARMERS TABLE ✨
We were genuinely honoured to be part of this amazing evening ❤️

The Farmers Table was a celebration of something we are hugely passionate about at
Yes chef catering : great local food, incredible produce and the people behind it.

From the farmers and producers to the chefs, suppliers and businesses who came together, this was a real team effort and a brilliant example of just how much talent and quality we have right here on our doorstep.

Our Yes Chef team were delighted to create the canapés and main course for the evening, working with fantastic local ingredients including
The Milk Bar beef, Andrew Sayers free range eggs, Gavin Tourish potatoes and vegetables from Shy by Nature Farm

A special mention has to go to
Shane McConnell’s Meats in Ballybofey for his work ageing and preparing the beef.

The quality of the produce we had to work with was exceptional 🥩❤️
Micheal also created the crème brûlée using milk from The Milk Bar, paired beautifully with ice cream created by Betty’s Ice Cream using milk from the same farm.

But what made this night really special was the collaboration.
We shared the kitchen and the evening with some brilliant people, including
No. 9 Market Square, The Hive Derry, Betty’s Ice Cream NI, Ulster Mead Co., Coole Swan, Opal Coffee Belles Kitchen and so many fantastic local farmers and producers.

Every course had a story behind it.
A farmer. A producer. A chef. A local business.
Someone who cared about what they were putting on the plate.
And that is exactly what The Farmers Table was about. 🌿

A huge thank you to everyone involved behind the scenes and to every guest who came along, supported the evening and celebrated local food with us.
For the Yes Chef team, it was a privilege to play our part.

Great food. Great people. Incredible local produce.
This is what happens when we all come together. ❤️

🎓 Today is a big day for lots of families... but exam results are only one part of the story.

Academic tests aren't for everyone. An apprenticeship, hands-on training, real-life experience, or simply discovering a passion for food, cars, building, farming or something completely different could be your road.

Good results or disappointing ones, today doesn't define you. It's just another road to cross on the journey to finding where you belong.
And sometimes that takes a while! ❤️
