We're delighted to reveal our final limited edition release for 2025. Our exquisite barrel-aged barley w**e, INSULATOR, is making a return to conclude the year with a flourish.
When it was last released in 2021, Insulator was aged in Port barrels, which provided a fantastic complementary character to that b**r. For this year's edition, we've selected French Chardonnay and Margaux barrels to host the decadent 14.8% liquid for the six-month aging period.
After maturing, Insulator is hand-bottled, labeled, and dipped in wax to finish. Our annual barrel-aged bottle release is always a huge undertaking for us, but it's only once a year and in a very limited amount, so we think it's worth going the extra mile.
Each bottle is a unique expression, drawn from a single barrel, allowing you to explore the nuanced contributions each brings. Both the Margaux and Chardonnay versions will be available this week from good independent b**r specialists.
