The 128th Ossory Agricultural Show will be held on Sunday the 26th July 2026, at the Ossory Showgrounds, Coolfin Rathdowney, Co. Laois - R32P7F8.

It's a wonderful family day out, with almost 300 competitive classes, live music, vintage shows & lots more! Join us for a fun filled family day on the 24th July 2022. We have attractions and competitions to suit and entertain all. In our outdoor arenas you can enjoy show jumping, showing horses, ponies, pedigree and commercial cattle , sheep, goats, poultry and a super dog show. Our indoor arena

showcases arts, crafts, flowers and cookery competitions, along with a fabulous display of trade stands. Everyone is welcome to compete in all our competitions. For entry requirements please contact our secretary.

🚜🌱 South Laois Vintage Silage Working Day 🌱🚜

Experience silage making as it used to be – and as it is today – at the South Laois Vintage Silage Working Day on Sunday 5th July 2026 at the Ossory Showgrounds, Rathdowney (R32 P7F8).

Watch a fantastic display of vintage machinery and tractors in action, with demonstrations including Precision Chop and Double Chop silage harvesting across 20 acres of grass.

🚛 Registration is Now Open for the 10th Anniversary Ossory Truck Show! 🚛

The countdown is on to one of the highlights of the summer as the Ossory Truck Show returns on Sunday, 26th July 2026 as part of the historic Ossory Agricultural Show.

This year’s show marks our 10th Anniversary, and we’re inviting truck owners from across the country to join us for what promises to be a fantastic day celebrating the industry, the people behind it, and some of the finest working trucks on the road.

From prestigious broodmare championships and young horse qualifiers to ridden hunters, working hunters, pony classes, side saddle and jumping, the Horse Section at the Ossory Agricultural Show promises another fantastic day of competition.

With classes across five rings, major championship opportunities and a €5,000 Ossory Show Broodmare Championship Prize Fund, there’s something for exhibitors of all ages and disciplines.
