Tullamore Show 2026, over and out!

In total we had nine animals at the show this year, and as is the case every year, it took a huge team effort to get everything prepared.

The highlight of the show was definitely Ransboro Claribel 4th (sired by Ransboro Catalyst), winning the Heifer in Milk class and also the Overall Dairy Shorthorn Champion on the day.

We are very excited for how this heifer is developing and are looking forward to the classifier coming shortly. Any guesses on what score she might get?

Claribel is currently projected for 7,350 kg of milk at 3.97% fat and 3.55% protein, giving her a projected 305-day yield of 549 kg of solids

For anyone interested, we still have Catalyst straws (SHX119) available.

First impressions are great, they are milky animals with excellent legs and feet with superb udders. Looking forward to seeing how they mature during the year.

💥💥Our first Catalyst heifer from our Cressida family also classified VG85 as a two year old 💥💥

Catalyst's dam is still going strong, currently on her 10th lactation with a lifetime yield of 80000 +kgs, +3000 kgs Fat and +3000kgs Protein with an average SCC of 79. The best cow in the herd!
