🚨 𝗕𝗥𝗘𝗔𝗞-𝗜𝗡 𝗔𝗧 𝗥𝗢𝗨𝗡𝗗𝗪𝗢𝗢𝗗 𝗔𝗙𝗖 𝗖𝗟𝗨𝗕𝗛𝗢𝗨𝗦𝗘 🚨

Unfortunately, our clubhouse was broken into overnight, sometime 𝐛𝐞𝐭𝐰𝐞𝐞𝐧 𝟗.𝟑𝟎𝐩𝐦 𝐥𝐚𝐬𝐭 𝐧𝐢𝐠𝐡𝐭 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝟔.𝟑𝟎𝐚𝐦 𝐭𝐡𝐢𝐬 𝐦𝐨𝐫𝐧𝐢𝐧𝐠.

Thankfully, there doesn’t appear to be much damage and luckily there was very little money in the till, which they forced open.
The incident has been reported to the Gardaí.

If anyone was passing the clubhouse during this time or noticed anything suspicious, no matter how insignificant it may seem, please get in touch with us or the Gardaí.

Although thankfully little was taken, we are now left to foot the bill for repairing/replacing the damaged door and securing the clubhouse, which will be a significant and completely unnecessary expense for our volunteer-run club. 😞

It’s incredibly disappointing that our club has been targeted. A huge amount of time and effort goes into running Roundwood AFC for the benefit of our players and local community, and incidents like this are extremely frustrating.
