💚 And just like that we say Goodbye to Wine St 💚
It's very hard to put into words how i felt this evening once i pulled down the shutters for the final time as a working shop.
There is sadness, relief, excitement, nerves and an enormous amount of gratitude all mixed together.
When I started All Things Natural on a little market stall in Strandhill back in 2019, I could never have imagined where it would take me. From market stalls, to our first shop at MarketCross to Wine Street, there have been so many chapters along the way.
So many wonderful people have walked through the doors of All Things Natural over the past 5.5 years.
Some came with bags full of empty bottles, others without bottles but still needed a refill ( Thankfully our donated jars/bottles came in useful)
Some who popped in for one thing and left with a bag full
Familiar faces we got used to seeing week after week.
The customers who became friends.
Those of you who chose to spend their money in our little shop when they could have gone somewhere else.
You probably don't realise how much every one of those little things meant to us, but i truly & sincerely from the bottom of my heart - Thank you all so so much for the support you gave us.
There have been wonderful days and there have been incredibly difficult ones. There have been times when I've questioned myself, worried about the future and wondered what the right thing to do was.
But through all of it, you kept walking through that door.
And for that, I will always be grateful. 💚
Im so proud that a little market stall became what we built up to today,
And proud that although we're closing this door, WE ARE NOT GIVING UP we are just trying to make it work a different way.
All Things Natural is still here and will be as long as you keep supporting us.
We're simply going back to doing things a little differently — back to markets, continuing our refills and finding a new way forward.
Maybe things won't always go perfectly at the beginning. We'll learn as we go, we'll listen to you and we'll figure it out together.
This isn't really goodbye.
It's thank you.
Thank you for coming through our doors.
Thank you for bringing your bottles back again and again for refilling
Thank you for every purchase no matter how small.
Thank you for every conversation.
Thank you for every recommendation and every word of encouragement.
Thank you for supporting my little business.
And Especially
Thank you for being part of the story of All Things Natural.🌿
Monday morning there won't be an All Things Natural shop in Wine Street Carpark
That's going to take a little getting used to.
Remember when you started this whole new way of living.
Remember when you had to make sure you kept your empties.
Remember when you planned out your shopping trip just to make sure you got your refills done.
This is going to be the excat same but with no hassle of trying to find a parking spot
