Autumn is upon us! Every year hundreds of starling alight in the group of pine trees in the south pasture. They make the trees come alive with raucous calls and busily keep changing the preferred perch!!!

How quickly the year has flown! A few minutes before this video there were about a hundred swifts and barn swallows gathering in these trees in the road border of Carrowcullen pastures! I wanted to share the special sight with you! Had to run home to get my mobile by which time only a few were still swirling. But I hope you can imagine the sight with this glimpse. So many opportunities to connect with nature here at Carrowcullen.
