Our 2 limousine calves for Carrick on the 23/24th November. Sire is “G. Rambo” and dam is by “Chocolate”
Going to make 2 super cows in time, perfect feet and legs, power, smart heads and lugs.
Roan heifer is only June born but growing at a mile a minute.
Only introduced to meal in September and only on 2-3 kg a day so massive thrive still left in these ones. Won’t melt when you get them home.

For Carrick 23/24th November. Our gang had a great summer with these 2 girls. Sired by “Tyson” the new up and coming BB bull and the dam by the one and only “Chocolate” who has really set the standard for red/white breeding heifers this Autumn.
These heifers have never been pushed and are only on 3kg a day so there is plenty of room to push on for the new owners.
Suitable and good enough for showing or flushing in 2026. A correct leg in each corner, plates, sweet heads, muscle in abundance and colour for good measure.

Carrick fever is setting in now that the sheep are all sold, thanks a million to Denise (Swarber Photography) for her time yesterday, patience of a saint. Pictures of the calves to follow.

Busy couple days done this weekend with the ram sale last night and we all had a cracking trade today at the Mayo mountain blackface sheep breeders sale today but dad definitely had one to remember averaging just over €300 each for his 50 ewe lambs. 😀👌 really great to see the top pens going to repeat customers. Thank you all bidders and underbidders.

Lot 74 is off 5K Cammy and one of the biggest old ewes in the flock

Lot 72 for Roscommon on Friday,
This lad has it all, a great skin (naturally strips round the neck), colour, bone and power. The most correct sheep I’ve shown to date, 4 perfect legs, a perfect mouth, level back with the head up all the time. An unbelievable handling sheep. Out of the 1.6k d**e, and looks very like him. 1.6k D**e is breeding super females with great commercial traits as this lad is sure to do.
