Another great evening of whiskey tasting in loft bar on Saturday night.

Di**le Fómhair rum finish from their limited edition Celtic Wheel of the year series.
As usual thanks also to for providing the wonderful chocolate that accompanied one of the tastings.

A private tasting for two German visitors this afternoon in the Loft Bar Dan Murphy's
They were delighted to taste some of the smaller Irish Whiskey producers, which they cannot taste in Germany.
We took them through the process of whiskey making in Ireland, the history of Irish Whiskey and stories about each distillery. One of the whiskeys was paired with Skellig Chocolate Factory Achill Island Seaweed and Seasalt dark chocolate and the other with a vintage Irish Cheddar from West Cork.
We featured :
Di**le Core Single Malt Irish Whiskey - Sherry and Bourbon finish. Di**le Distillery
Portmagee 9 year old Barbados Rum Finish distillery
The Liberator Double Port finish whiskey Wayward Irish Spirits
