Sunday was world chocolate day & we couldn’t let it pass without mentioning the ongoing cocoa crisis. It’s a complex issue but in short, Climate change & El Niño have led to a massive shortfall in cocoa beans meaning the price we pay for chocolate has increased by over 300%

We don’t have the answers yet but we’re rethinking our supply chain and trying to work in a more sustainable way. It’s a good time to support your local bakeries, icecream makers and chocolatiers, we have tagged our pals above🤎

Name a more compelling argument to ditch eggs and dairy in your cookies 👏🏼

In partnership with we undertook a carbon counting initiative to quantify the emissions in our cookie dough vs one made with the equivalent volume of eggs & dairy.

While our approach has never been to preach anyone has to be strictly 100% vegan, it’s so motivating to see how making such a small swap can have a huge impact. Plus our cookie dough is Gold award winning in a non vegan category, so you can be sure you’re not sacrificing on taste 👅💚
