Celebrating 20 years of Savour Kilkenny!

Our favourite local food festival, Savour Kilkenny, is turning 20 years old this October!

We're been delighted to have been part of this amazing festival over the years and were honoured to have been awarded the first Savour Kilkenny Food Producers of the Year back in 2012

This year, you will find Highbank on the menu at a number of different immersive dining events across the festival weekend, along with an interactive food experience, led by Kilkenny Food Tours.

Set in Sullivan's Taproom, you will find interactive tasting stations offering a relaxed route to discover the rich craft and culinary talent of the region.

Throughout the evening, you will have the opportunity to meet the passionate makers behind Kilkenny’s vibrant food scene while sampling an extraordinary lineup of goodies on Thursday 22nd October

We were delighted today to welcome Derek and his team from Nevo, as they traverse the East Coast on behalf of Bank of Ireland, a long time supporter of the annual Blas na hÉireann Irish Food Awards.

Derek is travelling around meeting the Irish Food Producer Finalists for this year’s awards.

The focus of today’s chat with Ger was our sustainability practices and ongoing efforts towards lowering our carbon footprint ☀️.

My sister Miriam Donohoe continues her amazing work helping others and just completed a delivery of 11 ambulances to Uganda .
Just watched this video and feel we can all learn lessons from these people .
Delighted to say my youngest Orlaith kirwan is out there volunteering for 5 weeks . Uganda Hands for Hope is doing great work
And I hate asking for money but I will share Orlaith’s go fund me page to support educational, health and community programmes for vulnerable children and families in Namuwongo, Kampala.

Bloom Day 4 was another amazing day! ☀️

It wasn’t just the beautiful weather that made it special it was getting to meet so many of our wonderful customers and welcoming plenty of new faces too. Thank you to everyone who stopped by, had a chat, and supported us today. And not to forget the amazing businesses keeping us full and hydrated with all their amazing products.

We’re loving every minute of Bloom and can’t wait for what tomorrow brings! 🌸
