🏨⚙️ New Energy-Efficient Pump Set Installed for Hotel in Kildare ⚙️🏨
We recently completed the installation and commissioning of a new booster pump package set for a hotel in Kildare, helping improve both operational reliability and energy efficiency. 🔧⚡
The existing system had reached the stage where major refurbishment works were required. Two of the pumps showed significant impeller wear, bearings required replacement, and several other components were affected by general wear and tear.
Following a full assessment, we provided the client with two options:
✅ Overhaul the existing Wilo pump set and retrofit new variable speed drives
✅ Install a complete new high-efficiency package set
After discussions with the client, it was decided that replacing the existing skid was the best long-term solution due to:
🔹 The critical importance of the system to hotel operations
🔹 Improved reliability and reduced maintenance
🔹 Long-term energy savings and efficiency gains
One of the existing pumps was relatively new, so we recommended retaining it as a spare. It matched the port-to-port and fl**ge dimensions of the new Lowara equivalent and utilised the same motor size, allowing the VSD to be swapped over if required. ♻️🔄

🔹 3 × Lowara LNEE 50-160/7.5/P25VCS4 pumps
🔹 3 × Nastec SRL VASCO V418 7.5kW Variable Speed Drives
The skid was manufactured in-house, with our team completing the installation and commissioning to ensure minimal disruption to the hotel’s operation. 👷♂️✅
