Devils Bit Mountain Cider

Devils Bit Mountain Cider Crafted with apples from our own orchards, we combine the age-old-technique of cider making with the traditional bittersweet apple to create this cider

Legend has it, that in chasing Fionn Mac Cumhaill, the Devil took a bite out of a certain Tipperary mountain leading to what is now known as Devils Bit Mountain. Having our orchards at the foot of this mystical mountain adds a certain something to our family's unique Irish Cider. Crafted with apples from our own orchards and pressed in our own Cidery, in Tipperary, we combine the age-old-technique

of cider making with the traditional bittersweet cider apple to create this wonderfully refreshing beverage.

Did you know what happens after the apples are pressed?

Instead of treating it as a waste, the leftover pomace finds a second life: heading straight to our local farmers to be used as a nutritious feed.

Nothing goes to waste here at Devils Bit!
It's all part of how we work. Using everything the orchard gives us, reducing waste, keeping it sustainable and local.

From orchards to glass, and back to the land. ๐ŸŽ๐Ÿ

It all starts with the apple.
Then comes the patience. The craft. The time.

No shortcuts. No nonsense. Just proper Irish cider, made the way it ought to be.
A bit wild, a bit wise, and well worth the wait.

A week filled with celebrations.
It's our heritage: generations and generations of traditions, celebrating everything that makes Ireland feel like home.

Wherever you are in the world, these moments are part of a living Irish story passed down through time.
It's kind of a time capsule, travelling and gathering stories along the way.

We are proud to be part of that story. Every single can carries a little piece of Ireland with it. That's our way of keeping the tradition alive.

Proudly Irish. Proudly Devils Bit! ๐Ÿ๐Ÿ‡ฎ๐Ÿ‡ช

This is John. He is the keeper!

Born and bred in County Tipp, minding the mountain and our orchards, John has been walking these rows for many years.๏ฟฝ He is proudly keeping the Devils Bit legend alive.

John knows every single detail of the process, and every story tied to the land. He looks after the journey of every apple, from tree to your glass. ๐ŸŽ๐Ÿบ

Every orchard needs their John. Ours is a pure legend.
