After a long illness bravey borne, mam passed peacefully yesterday afternoon surrounded by each of her six heartbroken children in Tipperary University Hospital. Our dad started the business in 1956 and after his passing in 1996 mam continued running the business until she was struck with illness. The shop was noted as Josie's as much as it was Fogarty's and that's testament to her will and drive. We value the priciples, strength, and determination she lived by as a true lady. Her legacy lives on in each of us, and her adored grandchildren. We sincerely appreciate the support of extended relatives, neighbours and friends. Thank you.

She will be leaving the shop for the last time at 10am on Tuesday before her requiem mass in the Cathedral.
