It is with deep sadness that we share the passing of Don Kiely, beloved brother, friend and a familiar face to many who knew him from his years living in Trim and while working here in Kiely’s Butchers.
Don will be greatly missed by his family, friends, and our wider community.
As a mark of respect, Kiely’s Butchers will be closed on Saturday 17th January 2026 for the funeral and while we take the time to mourn.
Thank you to all our customers for your understanding, compassion, and continued support. Your kind thoughts and messages mean more than words can express.
May Don rest in peace 🤍

Our ''Happy Town'' initiative aims to offer our local community, customers, service users and visitors to Trim a unique experience with each interaction in town, whether it be at one of our friendly coffee shops, bars or restaurants, or while browsing and shopping in our many fabulous retail shops. We are spreading the happiness one smile at a time.

Enjoy all the wonderful amenities that Trim has to offer and stay a little longer to explore Trim Castle, leisurely walks in the Porchfields along the banks of the River Boyne, our fun, safe and clean children's playground, kayaking at Boyne Valley Activities with Pitch and Putt next door and all the outdoor fun Trim has to offer.

Stay in one of our many hotels, guest houses  or Airbnb's to really immerse yourself in Trim's social scene from Trad sessions, to fine dining, cocktail hours and above all else friendly service.

The Team at Kiely’s butchers are working hard behind the scenes to have your orders ready for the Christmas feast. We look forward to seeing you all in the festive spirit, when there will be a glass of cheer 🍷 🍺 🥃 Collections are on Monday from 8 am to 6pm and Tuesday from 8am to 1pm.

We will be closed until Monday the 30th where we will be getting ready for the new year 🙌🏼🙌🏼

As a mark of respect to the beautiful woman Teresa O’Connor (RIP) and her family our shop will be closed on Thursday 6th June and will reopen on Friday 7th June 2024.
