Jana joined nearly 3 years ago as Assistant Quality Manager and has been Quality Manager for the past 7 months

Jelena has been with the team for almost 5 months, growing her knowledge of quality processes, compliance, and continuous improvement

Behind every smooth-running production line, there's a team keeping things moving.

Meet Taylor, Maintenance Manager at Kilkenny Nutritional's Piltown site — the person ensuring machines keep running, parts stay stocked, and breakdowns get fixed fast.

A day in the role means:
-Keeping the maintenance team on track.
-Managing a well-organised, well-stocked store.
-Planning services and coordinating contractors.
-Responding quickly when machines need attention.

As Taylor puts it — if a machine breaks down and there's no one there to fix it, production stops. That's what makes this role so essential to everything we do.

Meet Katie and Ciara — two recent graduates who've joined the team at Kilkenny Nutritional and are already making their mark.

Katie, a Nutrition and Health Science graduate from Cork, started last month as a Quality Coordinator — bridging the gap between QC checks on the line and QA documentation in the office. Her days include sampling, hourly checks, internal audits, and upholding good manufacturing practices to protect the end consumer.

Ciara, a graduate of SETU's Food Science Innovation programme, recently stepped into a Graduate Technical Technologist role — a new challenge she's embracing. She loves exploring the connection between food and medicine, and how diet is often an overlooked form of care for the body.

What's stood out most? The people. What they expected to be a quality-focused role turned into something much bigger — a workplace that feels like a "little family," where quality, production, maintenance, and operations all support one another.
