All are very welcome in Fenor tomorrow evening as we extend a special Céad míle fáilte to the Team Italy participants in the GAA World Games.

Our visitors will train at William Flynn Park at 5pm, followed by a long throw competition at Lake Road thanks to Fenor Road Bowling Club and then it's back to Mother McHughs for food etc.

There's Live Music (an excellent 3-piece local band) at 8pm, with the World Cup semi-final in the back bar.

Yes, it's a Tuesday, but what's seldom is wonderful!!

La dolce vita!! Fenor becomes Little Italy next Tuesday 💚🤍❤️

🟩⬜🟥 FENOR host 𝗧𝗘𝗔𝗠 𝗜𝗧𝗔𝗟𝗬 on Tuesday evening next, July 14th, during their visit to compete in the 𝗚𝗔𝗔 𝗪𝗼𝗿𝗹𝗱 𝗚𝗮𝗺𝗲𝘀 in Waterford.

Drawn from Rome Hibernia GAA and Gaelic Football Milan (Sant’Ambrogio GAC), the footballers — competing in the open and international classes — include proud ex-pats and also many native Italians who are really looking forward to the five-day tournament.

The group will train at William Flynn Park on Tuesday and we’d love the wider community to join us in Mother McHughs Pub in Fenor, Waterford that evening (from 7pm) for live music, food, and the village’s famous hospitality!!

Our sincere thanks to our friends in Fenor Road Bowling Club for their support in organising a teatime tie-in with our local heritage sport; a version (Ruzzola) being popular in northern Italy.

Sláinnte, a three-piece folk & trad band from Waterford and Wexford, make their Mother McHughs debut this Friday, May 15th. Multi-instrumentalist Kerry Batan (Fenor), Patrick Murphy and Kevin Redmond will be serving up tunes from 8–10pm 🎶
