In 1962, Curran Foods was established in Tramore, Co Waterford. At that time its main asset was a small van for delivering frozen foods and ice cream. For three generations the Curran family business has been evolving and is now one of the largest family-owned food wholesalers in the South East. Curran Foods has continued to survive and thrive through the many changes in the food industry thanks t

o its strong relationships with its customers and its ability to move with the times. The team aim at Curran Foods is to gain and retain customers by delivering value for money without compromising on quality. We work directly with farm-to-fork Quality Assured Irish Suppliers and International Producers including Ardo and Lamb Weston. Our range will ensure that you can offer high-end cuisine at affordable prices. In 1997, Curran Foods created the Express Cuisine® range. Express Cuisine is a one-stop-shop for all your deli needs. Our specialty point of sale signage encourages increased sales and profit. The Celtic Tiger may have stopped roaring, but the Express Cuisine range is still a tempting option for delis, coffee shops and forecourts who want to offer delicious and convenient breakfasts, lunches and take home bakery products.

What you'll be doing:

• Delivering orders to customers on a multi-drop route.
• Making sure deliveries are correct and on time.
• Dealing with customer queries on the day where possible.
• Completing delivery dockets and paperwork properly.
• Doing daily vehicle checks before heading out.
•Following all food safety and health & safety guidelines order fulfilment.
• Reporting any damages, accidents, or issues

What we're looking for:

• Full Category B driving licence.
• Good level of English required for customer communication.
• Someone dependable with good time management.
• Comfortable dealing with customers.
• Able to work on your own and as part of a team.

🚨 We’re Hiring: Telesales Executive – 6-Month Fixed-Term Contract

Curran Foods, one of the largest independent wholesalers in the Republic of Ireland, is looking for a motivated and customer-focused Telesales Executive to join our sales team.

This role is fully office-based in the Northern Business Park, Waterford City, Monday to Friday, 38 hours per week. You’ll handle inbound and outbound calls, process orders, maintain customer relationships, and identify opportunities to upsell products.

What we’re looking for:

Experience in tele-sales, customer service, or sales support (preferable but not essential), strong communication and organisational skills, comfortable in a fast-paced environment, and basic computer literacy (Microsoft Business Central experience a plus).

This year, Curran Foods marks 63 years of business, an incredible achievement. Curran Foods make it their mission to give back to the community, such as supporting the Waterford Food Bank, by donating to the food parcels. They have also been supplying the Granville Hotel for over four decades, including events such as supply this breakfast mornings in aid of Waterford Hospice Movement. These are just a few of the many acts of kindness that Curran Food's have shown over the years.

As part of their accreditation, they will receive the following;

January is a time to reflect. In January 2026, Curran Foods marks 63 years of serving customers. 🤝

Our story began in 1962 as Pat Curran Frozen Foods. Over the decades, the business has grown and evolved into what is now Curran Foods, while remaining firmly rooted in family values and trusted service.

Over the past twelve months, we have undertaken a brand refresh, including updated signage that reflects both our heritage and our future.

This series of images captures where we are today and where we have come from. As we look ahead to 2026, we would like to sincerely thank our customers and partners for their continued support.
