Jason's wine choice this weekend is a Chianti Classico 2022, Riecine, from Tuscany, in Italy

"Gorgeous aromas of cranberry and morello cherry lead us to a precise and taught palate, with fine-grain tannins and a mineral finish" - Jason

Patrick’s on the move, and so is the wine.

It’s a busy Wine Friday at Green Acres, with deliveries rolling in, boxes being opened, and the van getting packed for another day of keeping the shelves full and the customers happy.

A little behind‑the‑scenes look at the man who keeps the good bottles flowing. Cheers to Patrick and his Friday hustle

We had super fun last Saturday afternoon with the Cool Hand Ukes - Wexford

They performed outside on our terrace. They have done this for the last 5 years, in various locations around Wexford, and usually invite any musicians who feel like joining in to play a song or two with them.

The message is that their music unites people, in public spaces or on people’s porches, all over the world - that come together and play for peace.

Jason's wine choice this weekend is a Les Claus Guillard Blanc 2023,
Feraud et Fils, from the Rhône Valley in France.

"Gorgeous nose of tangerines and citrus fruits draws us into an unctuously textured palate of orange blossom and almonds, and notably low acidity gives us a voluptuous and fleshy finish balanced by a spike of salinity" - Jason

A little love story with a splash of Burgundy…

Freshly married and back to work, Patrick and Aine swapped a summer holiday for something far more romantic: helping with the grape harvest at Domaine Clerget in Volnay, Burgundy, France.

Sunshine, ripe fruit, long days in the vines… and a trip filled with the magic of French wine country. Here’s to love, harvest season, and a lifetime of great vintages together.
