🤩8 month old, Ballykelly Crusader, super quality, athletic c**t foal with a wonderful temperament 💚

Ballykelly Crusader “Ted” is by the international 1.60m show-jumper Grand Cru VD Vijf Eiken, by Contact van de Heffinck and out of Ballykelly Donail Belle, by the proven eventing sire Shannondale Sarco.

His dam Ballykelly Donail Belle is a full sister to CCI5* eventer Woodstock Bennett, 8th at Pau CCI5* in 2018 and travelling reserve representing Australia at the 2018 World Equestrian Games in the USA with Ryan Wood and Woodstock Eventing. The family has also produced CCI4*- S eventer Chablis II, alongside international jumping performers.

Ted’s dam is out of Donail Belle, by Beau Royale xx, whose sire Bohemond xx is a major Thoroughbred influence behind top eventers including Badminton Horse Trials winner Classic Moet and three-time Kentucky Three-Day Event winner Winsome Adante.

After winning a recent highly contested Horse Sport Ireland eventing foal qualifier he took third place in the overall championship final, scoring 5/5 for temperament and a high 17/20 for overall type and potential.

Ballykelly Crusader is a top prospect foal and combines international jumping scope, proven eventing blood and a deep Irish Thoroughbred maternal line.
