An evening of wh***ey, cask stories and great company at Bill Aherne’s. 🥃

We were delighted to be part of the Behind the Barrels event, with a barrel of Fercullen 15 selected for the evening.

Guests had the chance to taste Fercullen 15 and discover more about the wh***ey, its maturation and the influence of the casks with John Cashman, Head of Brand at Powerscourt Distillery, leading the tasting.

A great evening celebrating the craft, character and stories behind the barrel. 🥃

The name Fercullen has its roots in the Irish language, inspired by Fir Chulainn meaning the “Men of Cualann”, a name connected to the ancient territory surrounding the Wicklow mountains.

For us, Fercullen is more than a name. It reflects a connection to the landscape, history and character of Wicklow the place we call home.
