Sometimes January just needs a plan.

Grab some mates and meet them in Belmont for some fresh air, a walk, and round it all off in the taproom with a pizza, a pint and most importantly a good laugh.

That’s exactly what we’re lining up at Belmont.

On Saturday 31 January from 4pm, we’re hosting a family-friendly comedy afternoon in the taproom, with Edwin Sammon, Paul Marsh and Patser Murray bringing the laughs.

It’s relaxed, it’s local, and it’s for a good cause too.

🎟 €5 charity ticket
All proceeds go to Green Ocean Foundation, a not-for-profit charity doing brilliant work restoring marine biodiversity along the Irish coast including right here in Greystones Marina.

Booking is required to manage numbers.
Seating is limited and available on a first-come, first-served basis.

Low cost. Local. A proper January afternoon out.

Comedy Afternoon at Belmont 🎤

A special End of Dry January comedy afternoon at O Brother Brewing.

Join us in the taproom for a relaxed, family friendly comedy show. Hosted by Bray-based comedian Edwin Sammon, with a brilliant line-up of guest acts.

Headliner: Paul Marsh, award-winning, one of Ireland’s most loved stand-ups and guaranteed laughs.
Support: Patser Murray, an audience favourite from comedy clubs around Ireland (Love/Hate fans will recognise him too).

This one’s promises a few good laughs, and doing some good while we’re at it.

€5 charity ticket
All ticket proceeds will be donated to a not-for-profit charity doing incredible work restoring marine biodiversity along the Irish coast.

After a 200-year absence, Green Ocean have reintroduced native Irish oysters into Dublin Bay, natural climate champions that improve water quality and support marine life. In 2025, they launched their first Wicklow project in Greystones Marina, helping bring life back to our own coastline.

We’re delighted to support their work.
We’ll also be accepting additional donations on the day for anyone who’d like to give a little more.

The Taproom is open 12-7 this Saturday and Sunday, so whether you’re looking for the ideal spot for catching up with friends or a post hike reward, we’ve got you covered.

Pints and pizzas in picturesque surroundings. What more could you want?

We’ve got our 0.3% Bimble on as beer of the month at €3 a pint, too. So, whether you’re doing Dry January or getting on with regular January, give it a go!

Up at the Taproom, our beer of the month for January is Bimble, our absolute gem of a non-alcoholic hoppy ale. For the rest of this month, it’s on special at €3 a pint (whether you’re doing Dry January or not, we think it’s worth a go!)

We love it and it’s been getting rave reviews from our regulars. At only 0.3%, Bimble is smooth, incredibly refreshing and packed with gorgeous fruity flavours and aromas from the hop additions, you’ll be hard pressed to find a better low/no option these days.

Try it alongside or after one of our other offerings and we think you’ll be blown away how close it is to our regular offerings!

Taproom Sessions | Live This Saturday

This Saturday, we’re delighted to welcome Jon Ward to the taproom at Belmont as part of our Taproom Sessions series.

This will be an intimate acoustic set, with some decent pints pouring, pizzas on from earlier in the day and a nice bit of festive atmosphere. Arrive early to grab a seat and settle in for the afternoon. Sure what more could ya want?

Taproom Opening Hours | This Weekend

If you’re looking for something a little memorable to do, we’re open all weekend at Belmont with pints fresh from the source, pizza, and live music in the taproom.

We don’t usually open on Thursdays, but we hear Thursdays are the new Friday, so with that in mind the taproom will be open Thursday from 2–7pm. Perfect for early pints and an easy start to the weekend.

We’re open right through the weekend too, with a relaxed, festive feel throughout.

Live music this weekend:
• Friday: Saibh Skelly, from 5pm
• Saturday: Jon Ward, from 5pm
Limited seating for live sets so we would definitely recommend arriving early.
Admission is free

Sunday: Festive pints, pizza and Christmassy stocking fillers available to pick up in the taproom.

Pizza will be available throughout our opening hours.

This Friday, we’re delighted to welcome Saibh Skelly to O Brother Brewing for an intimate acoustic set as part of our new Taproom Sessions series.

Perfect timing with the kids wrapping up from school. Come up early, grab a pizza and a drink, and settle in for a relaxed afternoon at Belmont.
Saibh will be on from 5pm, easing us into the evening with a beautiful acoustic set in the taproom.
