Flow rates and water conditions don’t always stay the same. How does that affect TOC reduction?

Atlantium’s HOD™ (Hydro-Optic Disinfection) UV system includes a unique dual-sensor configuration measuring in real time each lamp output and the UV transmittance of the water (UVT%). The accurate monitoring of these critical parameters, in addition to flow rate monitoring and lamp power, enables the system to adjust its energy to deliver the exact required dose at all times, ensuring the results you need in the most energy efficient way.

For engineering teams, that means the system responds automatically as conditions change, reducing the need for manual adjustments.

Microbial control doesn’t stop at the water line. Ingredients matter, too.

A global food manufacturer in Canada needed to disinfect the sucrose used in its sauces without affecting product quality or disrupting production.

The manufacturer installed Atlantium’s HOD™ (Hydro-Optic Disinfection) UV system after the sucrose storage tank and before batching.

Since installation in November 2024, the system has operated reliably, with uninterrupted production and no product-quality issues.
