A new exhibition at Open W**e ❤️

On September 10 at 19:30, we are opening a solo exhibition by Poly Max at our space on Frenkel 32.

Born in Belarus in 1982 and immigrating to Israel in 1990, Poli Max has been drawing, photographing, and writing since childhood. A self-taught artist, he works between the figurative and the abstract, combining painting, photography, memories, landscapes, and moods.

In Poli’s work, the familiar can easily become strange. Figures, objects, and spaces seem to slip out of reality and begin to exist according to their own rules. His paintings do not necessarily tell a story — they create a space for one, inviting the viewer to pause, look closer, and experience a subtle shift in what feels familiar.

Today, Poli works from his own studio and gallery in Florentin, Tel Aviv. His work has been exhibited in Israel and internationally, including a feature in ART Habens, a large-scale installation at Dizengoff Center, and the international project Art Around the World.

Rosh Hashanah is just around the corner

And what better time to discover some of Israel’s finest w**es?

This week at Open W**e, we’re pouring w**es from Seahorse W**ery • יקב סוסון ים , a small independent w**ery in Bar Giora, in the Judean Hills. Their organic vineyard and distinctive approach to w**emaking have made Sea Horse one of the most interesting names in Israeli w**e.

A beautiful selection to bring to the holiday table: Sea Horse Red, James Chenin Blanc and Wild Grenache.

Friends, we’re opening the doors of our bar once again. As many of you already know, Open W**e is more than just a place for good w**e. It’s a space where artists, creators, lecturers, musicians, and simply good people come together.

On July 9, we’d love to invite you to the opening of a new exhibition by our friend, the talented artist Dima ütro

Dima lives and works in Tel Aviv. A graduate of the Bezalel Academy of Arts and Design, he is also a painting instructor whose work explores the relationship between people, the city, memory, and the self.

This exhibition is especially meaningful to us. It grew out of a story in which art, love, w**e, people, and, of course, Tel Aviv unexpectedly became intertw**ed. It’s a story about how a city sometimes gives back what we once thought was lost.

And we feel incredibly lucky: years later, Dima has returned to Frenkel Street—not to leave his paintings on the sidewalks, as he once did, but to share them here at Open W**e.

We’re truly happy to be part of this story, and we hope you’ll join us for the opening. We can’t wait to see you there!
