A Humbling Moment in Hebron 🙏 | Cave of Machpelah

Today, I knelt down on my knees at the Muslim side of the Cave of Machpelah in Hebron and touched the ancient opening where, through a small hole, I could see down toward the cave traditionally associated with the tomb of Abraham.

The Cave of Machpelah is traditionally believed to be the burial place of Abraham and Sarah, Isaac and Rebekah, and Jacob and Leah. This ancient place carries thousands of years of biblical history and reminds us of the faith of the patriarchs.

📖 “Then Abraham buried his wife Sarah in the cave of the field of Machpelah…” — Genesis 23:19

Kneeling there, touching that ancient place, and remembering the faith of Abraham was a truly unforgettable moment. 🙏🕊️

😂 Today in Hebron, I came prepared for the scorching heat in my half-pants… but the Tomb of Abraham had other plans!

At the Muslim side, I was kindly given a long cloth to cover myself. So, there I was—from half-pants to full traditional style! 😂🙈

But honestly, I wore it with respect and honor. ❤️🙏
Sometimes, the journey comes with unexpected outfits—and unforgettable memories! 😄
