This was yet another beauty I made in April 2023 and completely forgot to upload. 
This cake was requested by a super sweet client who shares an amazing bond with her husband and wanted to surprise him with a cake that not only showcased his favourite things but also depicted their journey together since marriage ❤️
We had lengthy discussions about the flavour and design of the cake and looking back it was all a hundred percent worth it. 
The cake turned out to be beautiful and still remains one of my favourites 🥰

This combination right here is probably it.

The last cake I baked before the long break and it had to be one of the best!!

Chocolate sponge
soaked with espresso
layered with a coffee ganache
filled with
hazelnut praline & biscoff
frosted with vanilla buttercream 🤌🤌

(a HEAVENLY combination that got me floating in the stars) ✨✨✨😝
Am I being dramatic? Yes.
Will I tone it down? Probably not 😎😝

A blast from the past, the one that didn't make it to the page before the long break 🌝

Flavour: Raspberry Pistachio ❤️

I was approached by a wonderful client whose daughter was turning 12 and was a huge fan of the house Slytherin.

Now me being a Gryffindor girlie I knew I had to accept this challenge and bake a cake for my sworn rival 😝

She wanted - A Slytherin logo, The green scarf, The elder wand, The Golden snitch, Ginnys diary, The deathly hallows, Basilisk, Malfoys figurine, Harry's scar, The talking hat, The grey wall and The Floating candles - 12 elements for her 12th Birthday.

I have to admit, not only did I end up having the most fun while baking this cake but also ended up watching the entire series again with more admiration for the house Slytherin 😝

Boy do I love my job 🤭❤️

Coffee is such a versatile ingredient. It goes well with all flavour profiles, be it acidic, bitter, sweet, salty or sour.

Being a 90's kid, baking this cake was like reliving childhood. And yes! Of course we watched it in Hindi. I mean watching the cartoons in their original language is fine.

But watching Noddy, Scooby-Dooby doo, Power puff girls, Captain planet and most importantly Harry Potter in Hindi, just hits differently. Doesn't it? 😝

I have said this before and I am going to say this again; Baking cakes for children is the purest form of bliss one could ever experience ❤️

Ever since I was a little girl, food has always amazed me. The ingredients, their fragrances, the flavour profiles, the textures, the combinations, all of it.

I made this flavour about a year ago for a very dear family friend & since then there has been no turning back. It has been a bestseller and the variations of this flavour are endless.

This time I made this classic for a wonderful lady who wanted something special for her fiance. She came through the reference of another lovely client and I am truly thankful for it.
