An apple crossing a mountain to get fresh to you.

Apples have a tiny clock inside them that only starts after they feel really cold weather (like winter) that’s why they grow big and juicy in places like Himachal, Kashmir, and Uttarakhand.

Green ones stay green because they keep more of their green colour (chlorophyll) and less red colour even when ripe it’s just their variety, like how some mangoes stay green when ripe too!

Lady’s finger doesn’t ripen on schedule. Same plant, same day, three pods ready and three more that need two more days to get there.

Run a machine through that and you wreck it. You tear out pods too young and leave behind the ones that were perfect that morning. Machines can’t tell tender from woody. And this isn’t a one-time harvest either. The plant keeps producing, pod after pod, for weeks. So the problem repeats. Every single day.

That’s why it’s picked by hand, every morning, pod by pod, only what’s ready that day. Slow, but it’s the only thing that works. Underneath it all, potassium and calcium build the size into the pod, boron keeps it straight. Get that right in your soil and the plant just keeps giving.

Nature thrives with nature.

Beneath the surface, an earthworm moves silently through the soil, aerating, enriching, turning waste into life itself. It asks for nothing but darkness and patience.

Above, in the golden hush of a flower, honey bees work with quiet urgency, gathering, pollinating, ensuring tomorrow's harvest without ever knowing they do so.

Neither creature was invited, engineered, sprayed into submission, or coaxed by chemicals. They simply came, because the soil was alive, and the air was clean.

Ask any Indian family what they expect for free with their sabzi, and the answer comes fast. Dhaniya tossed in without a second thought.

Nobody wants to pays for it. But free doesn't mean it grew itself.

Coriander takes about 30 to 45 days from seed to harvest. That's a month of watering, weeding, and watching the weather, because too much heat and the plant bolts before it's ready. Someone sowed those seeds in rows. Someone kept the soil moist every single day so they'd germinate. Someone walked the field and cut each bunch by hand, because dhaniya doesn't harvest itself with a machine.

All of that, so it could land in your bag as a freebie you didn't even ask for.

So here's the question worth sitting with. Something that takes a month of real work, from real hands, to grow. Do you still think it should always be free?

Ever had knol khol fresh off the field? This is where it all begins. Our farmers at Bhoomi plant each sapling by hand, no shortcuts. About 48,000-50,000 seedlings go into an acre, spaced 10-15cm apart.

The first two weeks matter most. Roots are settling in, and our farmers watch closely for dry soil and early pests. Since we grow organic, there's no quick fix in a bottle. Just neem-based remedies and hands-on care, the old way.
In 45-60 days, the knol khol is ready. Round, pale green, and crisp enough to snap.

Good things take their time.
